This is a list of islands currently (as of 2006) under the Republic of China administration (islands claimed but not administered by the ROC are not included on this list). All of the ROC claimed by the People's Republic of China.

- Taiwan Island (台灣島; Taipei Municipality and Kaohsiung Municipality, also located on Taiwan Island, are not part of Taiwan Province)

- Cijin (旗津島; formerly a longshore bar connected to the mainland)

- Pratas Islands (Dong-Sha; 東沙群島)
- Spratly Islands (南沙群島; disputed with several Southeast Asian countries)
- Taiping (太平島; disputed with several Southeast Asian countries)
- Chung-Chou (中洲礁; disputed with several Southeast Asian countries)
- Taiping (太平島; disputed with several Southeast Asian countries)
These islands were part of Guangdong Province, and later the Hainan Special Administrative Region, before the relocation of the ROC government to Taipei in 1949. The ROC claims all the South China Sea Islands, but only administers Pratas and Taiping.
