Ruda Śląska (pronounce: Image:Ltspkr.png ['ruda,ɕlɔ̃ska]) is a city in south Poland with 149,000 inhabitants (2001),

Situated in the Silesian Voivodship (since 1999), previously in Katowice Voivodship (1975-1998). The town is divided in the following neighbourhoods: Bielszowice (Bielschowitz), Bykowina (Friedrichsdorf), Chebzie (Morgenroth), Godula (Godullahütte), Halemba, Kochłowice (Kochlowitz), Nowy Bytom (Friedenshütte), Orzegów, Ruda, and Wirek (Antonienhütte).
